Location: Remote / Denver, CO (Hybrid)

Reports to: Director of Accreditation / IQA Quality Assurance Committee

Position Type: Full-Time

Application Deadline: October 31, 2026

About IAPUC

The International Association of Private Universities and Colleges (IAPUC) is the world‘s first and only international, non-profit association dedicated exclusively to private higher education institutions. Incorporated in Colorado on February 16, 2025, IAPUC serves a growing global network of private universities, colleges, and higher education institutions.

At the heart of IAPUC’s mission is the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Accreditation System—a comprehensive, mission-driven, outcomes-based quality assurance framework designed specifically for private higher education. The IQA system covers all academic disciplines, including Business, Engineering, Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Arts, Health Sciences, Education, Law, and Computer Science.

As we prepare for the global launch of the IQA Accreditation System and the onboarding of our first cohort of accredited institutions, we are seeking a dedicated Accreditation Coordinator to support the full lifecycle of accreditation activities. This is a foundational role for an emerging global accreditation body—an opportunity to help build the processes, systems, and relationships that will define private higher education quality assurance for years to come.

About the Role

The Accreditation Coordinator will provide operational and administrative coordination of IQA accreditation processes, including accreditation reviews, institutional communications, meeting and site-visit preparation, and accreditation documentation and reporting. You will work at the intersection of institutional engagement, quality assurance, and operational excellence, ensuring that every aspect of the accreditation journey—from initial inquiry to final decision—is executed with precision, professionalism, and consistency.

This is not a routine administrative role. It is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a transformative initiative: building the world‘s first comprehensive accreditation system for private higher education. You will collaborate with institutions across the globe, support peer review teams, and help shape the quality assurance infrastructure that will serve private higher education for decades to come.

Location: Remote / Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid)

Reports to: IQA Quality Assurance Committee / Secretary-General

Position Type: Full-Time

Application Deadline: October 15, 2026

About IAPUC

The International Association of Private Universities and Colleges (IAPUC) is the world’s first and only international, non-profit association dedicated exclusively to private higher education institutions. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, IAPUC serves a global network of private universities, colleges, and higher education institutions across 37 countries.

As we enter our global launch phase, we are building the data infrastructure that will underpin our accreditation decisions, institutional research, sector-wide analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. We are seeking a visionary Data Officer to lead this foundational work.

About the Role

The Data Officer will be IAPUC’s first dedicated data leadership position—a role that will shape how we collect, govern, analyze, and communicate data across every facet of our organization. This is not a routine data management role. It is an opportunity to build from the ground up the data systems that will support the global accreditation of private higher education institutions.

You will design and implement IAPUC’s enterprise data strategy, establish data governance frameworks, and lead the development of analytics capabilities that support accreditation decision-making, institutional research, and sector-wide reporting. You will work at the intersection of data science, higher education policy, and international quality assurance.

This is a high-impact role for a data leader who thrives on building systems, shaping strategy, and translating complex data into actionable insights that drive quality improvement across a global network.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do volunteers need to pay any fees?

A: No. The IAPUC Volunteer Program does not charge any fees to volunteers. Online volunteers work entirely remotely; on-site volunteers are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation costs.

Q: Is there an age limit for volunteers?

A: No. As long as you are at least 18 years old and possess the required professional capabilities and time commitment, you are welcome to apply.

Q: How long is the service period?

A: The minimum service period is 6 months, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. Weekly service commitment is generally 5-10 hours.

Q: How do online volunteers carry out their work?

A: Online volunteers work through IAPUC’s online collaboration platforms, engaging in document processing, translation, content editing, data analysis, and online event support. All work is conducted remotely.

Q: Is there a possibility of transitioning from volunteer to full-time staff?

A: IAPUC welcomes outstanding volunteers to apply for formal positions when vacancies arise. Volunteer experience will be considered a significant advantage in the selection process.

Q: Can I apply if my second language is not listed above?

A: Yes. If you are proficient in English and another language with practical value for IAPUC’s work (such as Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, etc.), we welcome your application. Please describe your language skills and their relevance to IAPUC’s work in your cover letter.

Q: How does the “two-year service tuition-free online degree opportunity” work?

A: After completing two years of continuous service with a satisfactory evaluation, volunteers may submit a written application to the IAPUC Secretariat. Upon review and confirmation, IAPUC will recommend suitable programs based on the volunteer’s professional background and career goals. Volunteers may then coordinate directly with the institution for enrollment, with tuition covered by IAPUC and partner institution program funds.

Q: Is the online degree opportunity open to all volunteers?

A: This opportunity is available only to outstanding volunteers who have completed two years of service. No more than 30% of global volunteers annually may receive this opportunity. Selection is competitive and based on merit.
