Our membership criteria are anchored in globally recognized best practices, regulatory benchmarks, and expert guidance from leading accreditation bodies. This section provides a comprehensive overview of the reference documents that underpin our standards, guaranteeing a transparent, equitable, and rigorous review process for all applicants.

Any Institutional Membership Application must be affixed with the institutional seal and signed by the authorised representative as required. Non-compliant applications are liable to rejection.

Before You Begin
Please read these instructions carefully before completing this application form. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will delay the review process and may result in rejection.

Eligibility Criteria
Institutional membership is open to the following categories of organizations:

Full Member – Legally registered private university, college, or higher education institution with degree-granting authority; has completed at least one full student cohort cycle; committed to continuous quality improvement. (IQA Accreditation Eligible: Yes)
Accredited Member – Full Member that has successfully achieved IQA Accreditation. (Already accredited)
Associate Member – Private vocational institutions, training providers, EdTech companies, education associations, and other organizations with a substantial interest in private higher education (no degree-granting authority). (IQA Accreditation Eligible: No)

Key Membership Principle: Full Membership is the foundation for IQA Accreditation. Institutions cannot apply for IQA Accreditation without first becoming Full Members.

Important Notices
1. Verification of Information – IAPUC reserves the right to verify all information.
2. Misrepresentation Warning – Misrepresentation may result in rejection, revocation, public disclosure, and legal action.
3. Compliance Obligations – Institution agrees to abide by IAPUC Constitution, Membership Standards, etc.
4. Data Privacy – Data processed per IAPUC Privacy Policy.
5. Application Fee – Non-refundable fee applies.
6. Processing Time – Typically 45 business days.
7. Good Standing – Annual dues and reporting obligations required.
8. Accreditation Linkage – Only Full Members eligible for IQA.
9. Reporting Obligations – Material changes must be reported within 30 days.
10. Right to Allocate Category – IAPUC reserves the right to determine membership category.
