The IAPUC Excellence Awards Committee, in collaboration with the Standards and Accreditation Committee, hereby confers six prestigious accolades to recognise institutional and individual excellence within the global private higher education ecosystem.
The Academic Excellence Award
- Recognises institutions delivering exemplary academic quality, maintaining rigorous curricular frameworks, and consistently achieving superior student learning outcomes.
The Transformational Impact Award
- Honours institutions demonstrating extraordinary capacity to transform lives and elevate communities through holistic, human-centred education.
The Innovation and Future-Readiness Award
- Celebrates institutions that embrace bold creative vision, exercise technological stewardship, and possess the foresight to reimagine education for emerging global demands.
The Industry-Education Integration Award
- Acknowledges institutions that build robust, sustainable academia-industry partnerships, establishing integrated pathways bridging scholarly learning and professional practice.
The Lifetime Achievement Award
- Recognises individuals whose distinguished professional trajectories embody visionary leadership, steadfast dedication to educational quality, and an enduring legacy capable of inspiring successive generations of educators.
The Academic Achievement Award
- Honours individual academics and researchers whose seminal scholarly outputs, far-reaching research impact, and intellectual stewardship have substantially advanced knowledge and professional practice across private higher education.
Nomination and Selection Process
The IAPUC Excellence Awards are open to nominations from all members of the IAPUC community, including staff, faculty, students, and institutional representatives.
For Individual Awards:
Nominations must include a completed nomination form, a formal nomination letter, an additional letter of recommendation from the nominee's direct supervisor (if that person is not the nominator), and a current curriculum vitae. Up to five supporting letters are welcomed from colleagues, peers, subordinates, students, or external partners. All letters should speak specifically to the award criteria with concrete evidence.
For Institutional Awards:
Nominations must include a completed nomination form, a formal nomination letter from the institution's senior leadership (President, Rector, or Chancellor), an additional letter of endorsement from the institution's governing board or accrediting body, and a comprehensive institutional profile or self-study report. Up to five supporting letters are welcomed from partner institutions, industry stakeholders, community organisations, or student representatives. All submissions should provide documented evidence of institutional performance against the award criteria.
Review and Decision:
The Excellence Awards Committee will verify the eligibility of all nominees, conduct a rigorous review of all applications, and prepare a shortlist of finalists. Recommendations will then be submitted to the Rotating Chairman of the Council for final approval and ratification.
